Greg Espersen is a Principal at Miramar Global, where he leads the firm’s Energy & Utility Technology practice across North America. He is dedicated to empowering the leaders driving the energy transition by discovering, connecting, and securing world-class executive talent.

With more than 15 years of experience in the energy technology sector, Greg has earned a reputation as a trusted partner to utilities, grid modernization pioneers, and private equity–backed innovators. He has successfully led searches for senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, product, government relations, engineering, and operations.

Greg’s expertise spans grid modernization, distributed energy resources, battery storage, communication networks, and grid safety. His hands-on, consultative approach ensures he acts as an extension of his clients, aligning talent strategies with organizational goals and long-term growth.

Prior to joining Miramar in 2024, Greg spent over a decade with SCI, where he led executive searches for energy technology companies and helped build the firm’s U.S. practice. He holds a degree from Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Beyond his professional career, Greg is passionate about the intersection of energy and technology and about developing the next generation of leaders. He lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and three children, where he coaches youth lacrosse. An avid snowboarder, cyclist, and golfer, Greg prioritizes time with his family and community outside of work.
