THE CHALLENGE

The global leadership of a major international Electronics, Autonomous Driving and Automated Mobility-on-Demand company mandated us to secure a market leading technology eco-system navigator to enhance their effectiveness across their value chain supply base.

THE SOLUTION

Miramar perceived the search as something that required innovative sourcing and assessment strategies to effectively guide our client to an unchartered solution. To successfully do this we needed to provide a short list makeup of 40% classic supply chain pedigree from market innovators and 60% technology partnership commercial leadership. This required meticulous assessment to provide legitimate solutions resulting in an unorthodox hire from an adjacent market.

Through a platform of projects harnessing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, we augmented our network into level 4/5 Autonomous Driving technologists across a blend of pureplay mobility providers, progressive tier one suppliers, OEM’s and academic institutions. The brief was extremely specific and tested with avid rigour which demanded the strategy to transcend familiar and unchartered territories across the three major global regions.

THE RESULT

  • A short list was produced in three weeks leading to an eight week from brief to hire process with the proliferation of an autonomous driving technology centre in Boston.
  • Identification of a Senior Partnerships executive delivering innovative technology sourcing supported by enhanced business acumen

Our work was successful in securing a candidate to support our client’s approach to innovation, customer engagement and technology roadmap for Autonomous Driving from an external perspective. Internally it has delivered expertise that will enhance the development of their global software engineering talent and attraction capabilities.
